Senders setup
Instructions
To configure senders, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Broadcast > Settings
- Select the communication channel you want to configure (e.g., SMS, Viber, Email). Give a name to your settings
Choose Vendor:
- Once you've selected a channel, choose the vendor you wish to configure for that channel.
Additional Parameters (Channel and Vendor Specific):
- Depending on the selected vendor, additional parameters and keys will be required for configuration
- Look for the specific fields related to the chosen vendor and channel
- Enter the necessary details in the prompted fields
- Note that the names of these parameters may vary based on the vendor.
Default Sender:
- If you have multiple senders, you can select a default sender for each channel.
Adding senders here will not affect any communications until you use them in a Broadcast or Automation studio.
Email domain setup
Ensure a secure and efficient email setup with these steps:
Domain Verification:
- To establish ownership of your domain, access the DNS settings and add the required records. The domain name can include up to 253 alphanumeric characters.
Mail From Domain Configuration:
- Customize the MAIL FROM domain for outgoing messages to align with the From address. This alignment is crucial for maintaining DMARC compliance. Ensure that the MAIL FROM domain is a subdomain of the verified identity.
Company Description:
- Provide a brief yet comprehensive overview of your company, outlining your business and customer interactions. This information helps personalize communication and provides a better understanding of your organization.
Staging Phase:
- Once domain verification is complete, enter a staging phase where you can initially send emails only within the domain. During this stage, download the generated DKIM and MX records. Implement these records in your domain configuration. This ensures a seamless transition to the production phase, allowing you to send emails to addresses across different domains. The staging process typically takes up to 48 hours.
